Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the 450 posts of ‘Assistant-2023’ in the Reserve Bank of India, hereinafter referred to as ‘Bank’. Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive examination in two phases i.e., Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). RBI Assistant 2023 Exam Date
RBI Assistant Exam Date 2023 for Prelims and Mains Exam are announced by the Reserve Bank of India at its official website www.rbi.org.in. The RBI Assistant 2023 exam is to be conducted in various shifts in different locations across India. As per the official notice RBI Assistant 2023 prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on the 21st and 23rd of October 2023 while the mains exam will be conducted on the 2nd of December 2023.

RBI Assistant 2023 Online Application
The Online Application Dates are announced through the RBI Assistant 2023 Notification. The online registration process has begun with the release of RBI Assistant Notification on 13th September 2023. RBI Assistant 2023 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 450 (for General and OBC Candidate) or Rs. 50 (for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD) as their Application Fee for RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. He/She can pay the application fee online using net banking or by any credit/debit card.
Please note that no application fee is required to be paid by the RBI staff.

RBI Assistant 2023 Eligibility
Nationality: A candidate is required to be (a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Assistant Age Limit (as on 01/09/2023)
A candidate must range between 20 to 28 years of age to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category. The age relaxations granted by the Government of India are mentioned in the table below:

RBI Assistant Educational Qualification (as on 01/09/2023)
A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam. He/She must hold knowledge of computers as well as have proficiency in the official language of the concerned state of Union Territory.
RBI Assistant 2023 Selection Process
RBI Assistant 2023 exam is going to be conducted in three phases [Prelims + Mains + Language Proficiency Test (LPT)]. The preliminary examination has three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability and English Language.
1. The mains exam has five different sections: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
2. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answers attempted by the candidate. No marks will be deducted if the question is left unanswered or blank.

Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). Based on the score of the preliminary examination students are qualified for the Mains exam. It is mandatory for all the candidates to qualify for these three rounds to ensure final selection to the post of Assistant in Reserve Bank of India.

RBI Assistant 2023 Salary
The Basic Pay for an RBI Assistant is Rs. 20,700/- every month per month in the scale of Rs. 20700 – 1200 (3) – 24300 – 1440 (4) - 30060 – 1920 (6) – 41580 – 2080 (2) – 45740 – 2370 (3) – 52850 – 2850 – 55700 (20 years) and other allowances. In addition to the Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. are also granted to the RBI Assistant. Thus, the Gross Salary of an RBI Assistant ranges to approximately Rs. 45,050/- every month.
RBI Assistant 2023 Admit Card & Call Letter
Candidates are required to download the RBI Assistant 2023 exam admit card from its official website as the admit card won’t be sent to candidates via post. To login to the official website, a candidate will require the following:

RBI Assistant 2023 Result
Reserve Bank of India releases the result of the RBI Assistant 2023 exam within 1-2 weeks after the examination is over. Candidates who appeared for the RBI Assistant exam can check the result & Score Card at the official website. The result is released separately for each stage and the RBI Assistant final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Mains exam and Language Proficiency Test.
