Kendriya Vidyalaya Jamnagar Cluster seeks to create a pool of teachers for temporary and daily contract appointments during the 2022-23 academic year to fill vacancies resulting from transfers, extended leave, or unfilled positions. Candidates are requested to present their original credentials and photocopies, along with a passport-sized photo, at the time of their interview.

NOTE: – 

• The ideal candidate should be able to teach in both English and Hindi.
• The teacher is expected to be present at the Vidyalaya for the entire day, including morning assembly and other non-teaching periods, which should be used for tasks such as assignment checking and evaluation.
• The maximum age limit for applicants is 60 years.
• In the absence of CTET-qualified candidates, those without CTET certification may still be considered, provided they meet all other eligibility requirements set by KVS Recruitment rules.
• Postgraduates with 60% marks in science subjects and 50% in humanities subjects may be considered for the PGT position if suitable candidates with a B.Ed. the degree is not available.
• Similarly, for the TGT position, a B.Sc. with 60% marks or a B.A. with 55% marks may be considered if suitable candidates with a B.Ed. are not available.
• Graduates may be considered for the Primary Teacher position if candidates with senior secondary/Intermediate/+2 qualifications and JBT certification are not available.
• Teachers appointed on a contractual basis will not receive vacation pay and payment during autumn/winter breaks will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
